When can I join the studio?
You can join our studio at any time, we always have space for new members! Even if many classes seem fully booked, we will always add more to accommodate everyone.
What do drop-in classes mean?
Drop-in classes mean that you can always drop in for a class, just make sure you book your spot online in advance as our capacity per class is limited.
It also means that you can join us as often as you like, at any day or time you prefer. In other words, we do not work with fixed groups or starting dates as you see with many other pole studios in Belgium.
So to join, all you have to do is register online or in our app and book your session.
Can I book for a friend?
As long as you create an account for your friend, or you have access to theirs, you can. You can always buy a class for your friend from their account and book them a class.
How do I book a class?
You can book a class from your account in our booking system, from our website or directly by using the app (iOS – Android). Please use sign up if you don’t have an account with us yet.
All our bookings are managed digitally by our own booking system, even if we help you create the first one. To get help, just come in and ask our front desk to create you an account and book your first class with us.
Why do I have to book every class in advance?
To provide you with the best service and class experience, we have limited our class capacity. As we cannot access your agenda, we ask you to book one of these limited spots instead. Plus, it is always nice to have an overview of your activities, and to see how many classes you have already done with us!
Do I really never have to share my pole?
No, never! Your pole is yours during your full hour of the class, this way you get the most of your practice and workout. The fact that you never have to share a pole, also is the reason that our classes are 60 minutes as you won’t get any time for a break.
Do I have to bring any equipment for class?
No, we will provide you with anything you need. Just make sure you bring a towel, wear proper workout attire, and be there! If you have no towel, you can always rent or buy one at our front desk.
I have never done sports, can I still join?
Yes, our classes are safe to join for beginners in any type of physical training. For pole, you can book any of our Beginner or Essential classes. For barre, it is advised to join Barre Essentials first. Flexibility and Pilates can also be attended as a newbie, but be sure to take Pilates Flow before Power Pilates.
However, we have classes that require experience. This is visible in the title and class level of the class. Still unsure? Be sure to read the class description in the schedule, as it is always written down there.
In what language do you teach?
We primarily teach our classes in English. Only if every participant and the teacher speak Dutch, the class will be taught in Dutch.
For private sessions, or specific explanations during a group class, you can ask us to speak to you in Spanish, German, French or Italian instead.
Why are this website and the booking app in English?
As most people speak English, but not everyone speaks Dutch, we chose to launch in English. We will add a language switcher to Dutch for our website soon. Just contact us if you need any help understanding or translating.
What do I wear to class?
We require you to wear activewear to any of our classes, and highly recommend a sports bra (when female).
For pole classes you will need as much skin as possible for grip, so make sure you wear shorts (any type is good for your first class) and a sports bra. Don’t worry if you feel uncomfortable, you can always layer your outfit with leggings and a t-shirt, and only strip down when necessary for the class.
For barre, Pilates and flexibility classes we recommend wearing at least ¾ length leggings and a sports bra. Grip socks are also advised for our barre workouts.
If any additional attire is recommended or required for a specific class, it will be noted in the class description.
Activewear, polewear and grips socks are also available for purchase in the studio and online.
What are Pleasers?
Pleaser shoes are heels made for Pole Classique choreographies. These shoes are easier to dance on than regular heels, more comfortable and safe to use on our floors.
Pleasers are always required for our Pole Classique classes. If you don’t have any, make sure you find a studio friend who can lend you a pair to try. We can also help you purchase your first pair online.
Can I try Pole Classique without Pleasers?
No, unfortunately you cannot attend this class without Pleasers or specialty shoes. Normal heels are not allowed. We recommend borrowing a pair from any of the other students and buying a pair on sale as your first pair. That way it is not a big upfront investment.
Still unsure about Pole Classique? Feel free to take a seat in the entry when a class is going on, to see if it might be for you. And just ask anyone with experience how they like it!
How can I pay for classes?
Online you can pay for classes using Bancontact, credit card, iDeal, Sofort and Apple pay. In the studio you can pay by card or Payconiq/mobile pay.
Can I cancel my membership before the minimum term?
No, memberships require a commitment of minimum 6 months. Therefore there is no option to cancel or downgrade to a cheaper option before this term ends. We can pause your membership when you have a doctor’s exemption from doing sports.
If you are unsure of being able to commit to the minimum term, we advise you to choose a class pass or unlimited monthly instead. You can always buy a membership after.
What membership is right for me?
If you are in doubt between two types of membership, we recommend you choose the cheapest option. You can upgrade your membership at any time, even within the first month. However, you can only downgrade to a cheaper option after the minimum term of 6 months. Please be aware that you cannot choose to only upgrade your membership for a few months, before going back down. If you wish to do extra classes for a short period of time, it is best to choose an Unlimited Monthly instead. Our front desk can also help you if you require options for this.
